The Insane Story of Rosalind Franklin- By Viktorya Hunanyan
Overall Winner
Rosalind Franklin made a crucial contribution to the discovery of the double helix structure of DNA however, like many of other women in history, she was not given the credit... I wanted to make something crazy that still had a lot of symbolism...The odd colors and shapes are there to symbolize how messed up the world can be.

2nd Place In category: Effort
Puzzle Pieces By Ariel Gao
I added trophies or awards below each person as both an clarification of their accomplishments but also to address the long-lasting problem of women scientists and doctors being written out of history....Ada Lovelace's (top left) award/description is the puzzle piece to Grace Hopper's (middle right), which can be seen to as a relationship as both of them are computer programmers and scientists.

2nd Place In category: Creativity
Breaking The Limits by Ani Hunanyan
"Breaking The Limits", a piece that highlights some of the women who have made, or are continuing to make, history as a result of their contributions to STEM. These women have not only contributed to STEM, but have also shown that they can overcome any obstacle that stands in their way.
